This absolutely stunning silk cotton maxi dress with an intricate front detail is a summer show stopper. It has a long slit along the front for a flattering shape and leather strap in a gorgeous fuchsia pink. This is a perfect outfit for a Summer wedding or engagement, to take on holiday or glamorous event such as Ascot. Pair with a simple jewellery and a pink lip to enhance the beautiful print.

If you’re looking to invest in something versatile, this is it. In the soft colour of ivory silk, it can be styled with either an A-line skirt as shown in the image or even dressed down with a pair of cigarette trousers or dark smart jeans making it perfect go to for smart and casual events. Beautiful silhouette which  will be flattering on any shape and chantilly lace appliqued on one side.

We love this ice pink crépe dress with cap sleeves and a round neck line. With a flattering fitted shape and clean lines, complemented by an interesting cape design at the back which turns into soft cap sleeves with a slit. It’s fully lined with gorgeous silk and is the ultimate go-to party dress,  especially when its 50% off!

This mixed silk/cotton dress is perfect for Summer parties. Very classic, simplistic with flattering waist line, length, and gorgeous front and sleeve detail. Style with nude coloured heels as suggested in the image, or go bold with a statement heel and clutch bag.

This is a great one for Summer outings. Flattering flowing maxi dress with a floral water colour-like print and bandeau strapless style bodice. Be great styled with either flat sandals or a wedged heel and perhaps a nice hat for a wedding!

This little number is a definite favourite. Delicate pleated lace at the waist, flattering neckline with a heart shaped top half with thin straps, and it comes with an elegant leather belt to add an edge to the look. You can vamp it up with accessories such as open toe high heel sandal or an understated nude heel and gold jewellery.

Beautiful floral print, silk and cotton mix, cinched in at the waist and bat wing sleeves – this is ideal for a wedding day! With it’s classic boatneck shape and perfect length, it would complement any figure shape and go with statement hat, or sticking to nude accessories such as shoes, bag and jewellery.

The End of the January Blues

Well, January has been quite a month.  This month I talk about the David Bowie’s style legacy; Pure London 2016; the new collection and snow blizzards.

‘I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring’ – David Bowie

Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, Thin White Duke – Bowie was renowned for reinventing himself to suit his music and audience.  Although I was a child of the 80s (and not the 70s growing up) I took a lot of inspiration from Bowie.  I remember watching Labyrinth and instead of emulating Jennifer Connolly’s character style, I would instead wear leggings teamed with a white blouse and waistcoat.
Whether male or female he had an effect of making fashion relevant throughout the decades.  His music and his style will live on and here’s a look back at his greatest looks.
I am very excited to be putting the finishing touches on my Autumn/Winter 2016 collection.  It has been a real labour of love for me.  In the latest collection, I use a mink cashmere blend of rich fabrics within the wool/viscose dresses in the collection.

My new collection is all about the cut.   With clever dart manipulations, waistlines are defined and the tummy area is concealed, resulting in perfect silhouettes. The collection is for women who are looking for effortless glamour with easy to wear pieces.
Unfortunately, parts of the US are suffering a bit from severe ‘Snow Days’ over the last week.  We have been lucky in the UK not to have had much snow this year.  However, I do feel that there is nothing better than wrapping up in my best faux fur and coming across all Julie Christie in Dr Zhivago.  However, here is a tip for you – if you find yourself amongst the remnants of the January sales, then purchasing faux fur – whether it be a cossack, stole or even coat is a great investment and would and should last you a lifetime.
Well, that’s it folks – I look forward to updating you with images and updates from Pure London next month.  During Pure London, the Arzu Kara stand number can be located at N24 and the Premium Women’s Wear collection will be showcased.  You can register for FREE for the event by clicking on the following link.  See you there!

Monday meetings

It’s that day again! The weekends just seem to fly but if you’re in the minority like myself don’t feel too sad then you embrace Mondays and love them.  Today, I’ll be enhancing my mood my wearing my Madrid, jersey top with my mint cotton cigarette pants. My favorite colour grey is introduced as the third colour for the ensemble. Happy Mondays!

Pure Radiance at Regatta

Pure Radiance at Regatta
It’s that time of the year again; Henley Royal Regatta. If you are going in to the Royal enclosure, you need a dress below the knee! It’s rather old fashion but rules are rules. Don’t forget to watch the races, oh no sorry that’s me!

Modern Gothic

Modern Gothic

My favorite photographer, Mark Paul Andrews and fave stylist Justyna Poniewaz recently done a Gothic themed editorial and this shoot was successfully featured in Modo magazine. I specially designed the black tulle dress, with built in mesh corset, embellished with swarovski crystals and the Chantilly lace bolero jacket for this shoot. Couldn’t be happier with dreamy, slightly dark but romantic results.
